IN THE VIDEO below, Eric Kong, fund manager and co-founder of Aggregate Asset Management, explains certain principles of investing of his fund.
These are: low PE, low price/book value, high dividend-yield.
The presentation is pitched at the relatively inexperienced investor -- a guy holding a full-time job and has no time nor expertise to pick stocks -- and does take a swipe at a competing investment vehicle, unit trusts, as well as "gurus' who tout their high-priced investing courses.
The sophisticated investor, on the othe hand, would know the stuff and even have his own stock-picking approach which is different from that of Aggregate.
