King Wan last year dividend is 1.5 cts. At 31 cts dividend yield is about 5%.
Reck how you calculate the yield for King Wan as 9.7%?
Management indicated King Wan outlook next 12 months is challenging. Such as increasing competition, labour & materials cost. Margin lean & shortage in skill and unskill workers.
Hi Rocky: U r right that last year was 1.5 cents. From what I read of DMG analyst report, the management is guiding for 1.5 cent special dividend for quite a few years to come. This will be made possible by the S$50 m in proceeds from the sale of shares of KTIS when they are listed in Thailand next month.
I'm not as positive as you guys on LippoMall. I've taken a look at the past distributions of various REITs and Lippo Mall appears to be one with a rather weak history, with DPU on a downward trend since 2009.
I sold out once when they made 2 aquisitions which are not yield accretive.
I thought the management took us for a ride.
But the latest aquistions has turn yield accretive , and there was a change in cEo.
Only time will tell, I bought for the potential growth in the future and the high yield which I expect to hold, since once the tenacy improve, it is sticky upwards.
