Gaoxian results announced this evening: Ernest Lim was spot on with the eps now translating into PE of 2.6X for the stock. Looks like a lelong price. However, Ernest was proven wrong in terms of dividend payout. The management decided against any payout, in order to channel the cash to an aggressive expansion programme. Ernest Lim\'s article:

Good Set of Result as compare to other listed S-Chip textile player. While understand the need to reinvest for future growth.... the lack of dividend was a bit of disappointment.... Just have to hold on, sit tight and wait till the market rediscover this gem....
2.6X PE? Dirt cheap. Only 18.5 cents. And I believe there will be growth in profit this year because of : 1) recovery in the polyester yarn industry in China. Q4 already witnessed recovery. 2) Capacity expansion at China Gaoxian.
Can anyone tell me how this is different from China Sky Chem, Fibrechem, Hongwei, once high flyers with low PEs, high margins, expansion plans and touted good prospects in the past, no less by some of the same analysts? Then again, they listed at 26 cts and now it is down by around 30%. Don\'t flame me please. Just seeking to understand
