Hey Editor, Why not do a summary of the book for us after you finished? I am surprised, would interest a lot of investors.
There\'s one bit that really is shocking. when Buffett and katherine graham & a few other people were invited to a dinner at Akio Morita\'s (Sony) apartment, they were served freshly prepared Japanese cuisine by chefs in the apartment. Buffett passed the 1st dish, then the second one, and all the way to the 15th. He didnt eat, he didnt even attempt. Jap food looked alien and difficult to him.... much to the embarrassement of his hosts. he told the author, he was thinking of hamburgers and strawberry icecream and coke! is this a reflection of his risk-aversion and longing for things familiar & certain? Your guess? (i hv been asked by Pulses to write a review of the book)
I believe so. His dietary habits should reflect his character. Was told once by a US fund manager that Warren Buffett almost bought a BRA-making company! Cos he believes every woman needs to buy a few pair of bras every year. Pretty much the same rationale why he bought Gillette. Not sure how to verify this. But I have been looking for BRA-making companies since then and yet to find a truly good one.

Actually if we look around, how many Singaporean will try new stuffs like Jap foods after living for half a century? Beside Snowball, Security Analysis Sixth Edition is out too. I bet it can be a better book than Snowball. And \"The Four Filters Invention of Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger\" is getting very good rating from serious investor.
